About NEONMEGLE

NEONMEGLE is a one-tap random video chat. No sign-up, no profile, no feed to scroll — you press start, we drop you in front of whoever else is up right now, and you can pull a face-tracked mask on mid-sentence.

How matching works

Add interest tags before you start. Our lobby pairs people who share at least one tag first, then falls back to whoever has been waiting longest. Skip any time and you go straight back into the queue.

Face effects

A face-landmark model runs entirely in your browser at about 30 frames a second. The mask is drawn onto your outgoing video, so the stranger sees exactly what you see. No frames of your face are ever uploaded for effects.

Privacy

Video and audio travel peer-to-peer between the two browsers. We keep a short-lived lobby row while you wait to be matched and delete it as soon as you pair or leave. Text chat is not stored. Recordings you make stay on your device. Reports you file are stored so moderators can act on them.
